At Restaurant (@! Restaurant), Crows Nest
You could easily dismiss this Japanese eatery as another Teriyaki chicken hole-in-the-wall local. But look beyond the simple furnishings and strange name to find a stern-faced sushi chef quietly crafting some of the best around town.
This guy is the real deal. Stunning morsels of precision sliced seafood that begs consumption. The “At style” nigiri sushi plate is a yummy flight of seafood. Don’t leave without trying his finest work. I mean he does hold a crazy sharp knife you know.
The service is friendly and prices are quite reasonable for the quality. You could miss the hot dishes to accommodate more sushi bar items. The chef can take it and if you’re lucky, he may give you a smile.
